Qualified, Caring Teachers
All teachers in Catholic schools have earned the academic credentials required for effective teaching. Most have completed their masters degrees. The average number of years our teachers have been teaching in Catholic elementary schools is 14.
While experience and credentials are essential, what really differentiates teachers in Catholic schools is their level of caring and commitment that extends far beyond the classroom. Mary Voglmayr knows the teachers at Christ the King School very well. She is a graduate of the school, and her children are following in her footsteps. “We have an outstanding faculty,” she says. “Their dedication and motivation come from their hearts, not their paychecks.”
Honored as Exceptional
Many of our teachers have been selected for inclusion in Who’s Who Among American Teachers or have been honored as exceptional educators by such companies and organizations as Dunlop, Target, Wal-Mart, and Disney.

Mr. and Mrs Volby, middle school teachers at St. Joseph School in Batavia, recently received the late Timothy Russert's Sister Lucille Socciarelli/Father John Sturm Making a Difference Award for extraordinary dedication by the Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo. Karen Green, Principal, nominated them for their dedication to Catholic Schools and their students. Both in and out of the classroom, Catholic school teachers demonstrate concern for the welfare of their students and set an example for young people to follow. Their work exemplifies our belief that teaching is not merely a career but also a calling.
